HealthCare Appraisers’ Infrastructure Improvement Initiative is fully underway, with prioritized projects established and steps forward defined and assigned to owners. Documenting processes and reviewing historical data along with anecdotal experience gleaned from process practitioners have already highlighted deficiencies in the Project Management/Tracking process that are opportunities to improve cycle time to produce an accurate report. Options for addressing these opportunities are currently taking shape and the coming week will see continued development. An event involving key process practitioners is to be scheduled the week of March 16 for a critical evaluation of proposed options for process improvement action, which will provide necessary feedback establishment of the “Should-be” process map of the new process design.
